Admission is contingent upon a favorable assessment by the Examining Committee of the applicant’s technical abilities.
The assessment will be based on a video produced by the applicant and an online motivational interview.
The video (12 minuts maximum) shall show the applicant executing:
- a brief dance sequence with the following floor steps: adagio, pirouettes, small jumps and grand allegro (women shall perform this en-pointe);
- a contemporary dance solo lasting a maximum of 2 minutes.
The video must clearly show the applicant but does not have to be of professional quality and it must be uploaded to the Office365 platform within August 31, 2025 at 11:59 pm (Italian time).
The interview will take place in Milan on September 3 or 4, 2025.
To submit your video for selection, please follow these steps:
1) Clic here below to access the upload platform (Office365)
2) Clic on select button “Seleziona file” and choose your video. The system will not allow you to change the name of the file, so we recommend that you prepare the video on your PC or phone already with a suitable name.
3) Once chosen your video, a new window will ask you to type the candidate’s name (“Nome”) and surname (“Cognome”). Then press the upload button “Carica”. The system will show you the uploading process and it will confirm the outcome at the end.
The Committee will not view videos sent in any other way or without details.
To apply for the selections, you need to register or login to the Academy's enrollment platform (https://iscrizioni.accademialascala.it).
The system will ask for personal data and will propose the "Terms & Conditions for Participation", a document that must be signed and re-attached and which contains important contractual details, such as the right of withdrawal.
After completing this step, you will be asked to enter the attachments for each course, detailed in the brochure (if you have not already downloaded it, do so now!).
Then, you will be asked to pay the registration fee either by credit card or by online transfer, directly from the same registration screen (banks in the MyBank circuit are accepted: check first that yours is there).
At the end, a pdf will be generated summarising all the data entered, which must be signed and attached.
At this point, the enrolment is directly submitted to the Students' Office.
To complete the registration for this course, you are also required to submit a video, uploading it to an Office365 folder available at this link:
The system will ask you to upload your file and enter your first and last name.
PLEASE NOTE: registration for the Master Course selections requires that both procedures be completed, both the submission of the registration form with payment and the submission of the video. Candidates who do not complete both parts by the date indicated in the brochure will NOT be considered.
Diplomas obtained abroad must be enclosed together with their legal recognition, as required by Italian law.
In particular:
It is also essential to attach an Italian translation of the curriculum vitae.
In addition, candidates residing outside the European Union must submit by the start date of the lessons - if they pass the selection - the documentation required by law and by the provisions of the Italian Public Security Authorities for non-EU citizens (request to obtain a residence permit for study purposes).
The Academy has agreements with accommodation, restaurants, theatres, cinemas and other shops, from which students can benefit - by presenting their ID card - or even candidates for selection, by presenting their full registration.
