"EDUC.ARTI" is the project proposal of Fondazione Accademia Teatro alla Scala that aims to involve secondary schools in Milan and neighboring municipalities, in an educational course on the arts and performing arts professions.
The goal of the project is twofold: on the one hand, to bring closer and orient the young people aged 14 to 19 to the performing arts and crafts, in particular the creative crafts of the Stagecraft Department of the Academy (theater tailoring, set design, wig making, special make-up, photography, sound and light design); on the other hand, involve the educational community in the transfer of artistic disciplines and in the knowledge of professional outlets in the sector.
The initiative is free of charge and takes place directly in educational institutions; the modules are led by highly specialized teachers, and include professional testimonials and hands-on workshops.
